David has been with Close Thornton for over 55 years since joining us straight from Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Darlington in 1967. He has held roles in various capacities including as a Legal Executive and then as a Solicitor and former Partner and has experience in many areas of the law ranging from residential conveyancing to agricultural property, landlord and tenant issues , other commercial property matters and company/commercial law, business sales and purchases and company mergers and acquisitions. Now in his twilight years, David holds a role as a practising consultant liaising with clients and introducing them to the newer and younger members of the firm and overseeing matters for long established clients.
