I would recommend using Barcan+Kirby. Jackie Kitching and Nicole Milstead dealt with a sale and purchase for a parent with my giving instructions under a Power of Attorney. I have bought and sold properties a number of times in the past and this was the best experience that I have had. They were quick to respond to queries and to give updates and I appreciate how helpful they were.

I can highly recommend Jackie Kitching as a conveyancing solicitor. Her efficiency, attention to detail were second to none. Jackie helped me conclude selling and buying on the same day which avoided my furniture going in to storage. She is a professional who is prepared to go the extra mile for her client.

Excellent residential conveyancing service. Clear and timely communication via phone/email. Jackie and her team certainly helped to drive the process forward and we did not need to chase on anything. Overall, an outstanding service and much better than the service we had from solicitors for a previous house move. We would definitely use Barcan&Kirby again and we have already recommended to friends.

Excellent service from Jackie Kitching and her team. Jackie was knowledgeable and very efficient. She kept negotiations on track when things threatened to derail. She responded quickly to emails and was friendly and sympathetic. The only issue was the 6 month delay in receiving the deeds and title . After I had emailed a couple of times, Jackie chased the Land Registry and the issue was resolved immediately. I did wonder if this would have been done if I hadn't emailed ( and forgotten about it). Otherwise very happy with the service I received. Would certainly use Barcan and Kirby again and have already recommended to friends.

Great experience
Made house buying and selling as unstressful as it can be. Came to this firm for the solicitor we had used previously when she worked for a different firm.

We received an outstanding service from Jackie Kitching and Nicole her assistant. Jackie had a two week holiday just before exchange, but her handover to her colleague was seamless. Throughout the whole process, which was complex (our chain collapsed at one point), Jackie was thorough, tenacious and practical all the way. I hugely appreciated how responsive she was and how efficiently she and her colleagues dealt with our sale and purchase
