Alex is a solicitor in our Medical Negligence team. He has previously worked as a paralegal whilst studying his LPC part-time, before commencing his training contract at a small Hertfordshire firm.  During his studies and training contract, Alex developed a keen interest in medical negligence cases, which led to him specialising in the practice area. Alex qualified as a solicitor in February 2023. Alex appreciates and empathises with the needs of his clients, who are often seeking an apology or an understanding as to what has happened in addition to a settlement for the loss they have suffered. He is organised, empathetic and able to present information to clients in a way that’s easy to understand. He is also tenacious and comfortable in working on matters which may become highly contested or more complex. Making a tangible difference to people’s lives and ensuring that future healthcare processes are improved is an aspect of Alex's job which motivates him every day. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoys weekend day trips to national parks, cooking and outdoor activities such as hiking.
