My husbands claim was particularly challenging as there were so many areas involved, however Katy Easy- her tenacious approach left no stone unturned and no question unanswered which gave us the closure we needed, giving us a successful outcome to look to the future.

Irwin Mitchell were recommended to me after a close family member suffered serious traumatic brain injury after a road traffic accident. After meeting with James Davies, I knew that this was the right fit for me and my family. When navigating something like brain injury, you need expertise from the right people, as it's an area in which not everyone is qualified. It's complex, layered and important to have the right legal team from the get go. James and his entire team, especially Declan French have gone above and beyond in ensuring that we are both informed, supported and taking the appropriate legal action. They are approachable, caring, yet professional and no nonsense, there is zero doubt in my mind that we chose the right team for us.

Did first/basic info gather. Had call back quite quickly and had cast iron case as trust had already admitted poor service liability. Resulting in permanent damage to joints called septic arthritis.
No call back, really disappointed in their attitude and felt my story not taken seriously. Not even a call back to explain.
I would not recommend this firm, they certainly don’t perform as well as their TV advert tries to show

Today we received the telephone call that we never thought we would get – our Medical Negligence Claim had been settled out of court - This has only been possible due to the tenacity empathy and World Class support and advice from the WONDERFUL Jenna Harris.
Jenna and her team were recommend by so many people due to her ability to get results, she always has your back – she is a winner!
Jenna and her team provided clear realistic advice by also showing that as individuals they care but also Irwin Mitchell care about people.
Jenna, Jacqui and Kay have been fantastic keeping us updated on a weekly basis and being very sympathetic but factual to the issues we were faced with on a day to day basis.
The team go the extra mile for their clients and have been a great support from a legal and friendly perspective but also showing that they care and are very experienced in medical negligence and have been very honest with me from day one - which is something I really appreciate.
Jenna and the team are now considered family friends and should be looked at by clients as trusted advisors as they had the ability to make me and my family feel at ease when difficult conversations needed to be had.
Jenna's ability to build relationships quickly (even in a Pandemic) is World Class and in my humble opinion IM are so lucky to have her on the team as she is a massive asset to the Firm. I don't know where we would be without her !

At the most difficult time in my life, Hilary Wetherell at the Birmingham office has provided the most amazing support. Hilary really cares about her clients. The rehabilitation package she arranged for my daughter has helped her to recover to a stage that I didn't think would be possible. The award she has secured has exceeded all of my expectations. I found them to be attentative and were listening to my side of what happened. I recive reply to emails within 24 hrs from them and when I phone the office there is always someone to help with any questions. I would absolutely recommend Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, just give them a phone and talk to somone on the team about your accident and as I said they are fantastic at listening and giving professional advice on where to go next. It can't harm just to talk to them and that doesn't mean you're abliged to use their services.

Be careful as to whom you put down as an executor of a will because if it's a solicitors the charges for probate/dealing with the estate "could" run into thousands as per the experience here, and it's difficult to nigh impossible to remove them without having to go through a court. Whether it's charging by the hour or charging a percentage of the estate I am sure many don't realise how much this will cost because of course when you write a will you may have no idea of the fees that they will charge. So my advice is if your loved one has made a will through a solicitor maybe an uncomfortable conversation may be best to avoid a massive shock later. We will never know if using Irwin Mitchell as an executor was the wish of our loved one or if possible (alleged) "persuasion" was a factor when the will was being set up. I know our loved one would be horrified if they were still here.

No help... couldn't make it past the stupid female on the phone acting as gate keeper yet again. Seem to think they know the law. Real problem... a solicitor should tell me whether or not that they want to take on my case, I'm not interested in the opinion of the receptionists.

I have contacted Irwin Mitchell for a severe case of medical negligence, where a consultant made a wrong diagnosis, in front of a rare disorder characterised by cardiac arrest and the use to a specific treatment, despite having had the right diagnosis from other consultant the legal firm told me that I didn’t have a case….incompetent and useless legal firm…

I was made redundant and given very little notice of it, I felt panicked, angry and completely uncertain of my rights. I was recommended Leanne Moretta at Irwin Mitchell by a friend and managed to speak to her the same day. She was able to explain the situation to me in very clear terms that was able to break through my fog, explained my rights and set out the options I had, as well as dispelling some misconceptions I held about taking legal action against my former employer. She dealt with the interaction with my former employer which removed some of the stress and emotion of dealing with them that I would have felt and allowed me to look forward and start looking for a new job with the confidence that Leanne was operating with my best interests. She pulled out sloppy practice on my former employer's part and was able to hold them to that which improved the package I was entitled to, and advised me on the strength of my negotiating position. I can honestly say that without Leanne's professional influence and advice, I would likely have ended up going down a different path which would have cost me more money and emotional energy and left me in a worse position. I can whole heartedly recommend Leanne's services and was highly impressed with all of the Irwin Mitchel team that I had interaction with on the way.
