From the moment I spoke to Lily about my arrest, she listened intently and allowed me to discuss the situation out in full before she made some suggestions, before we talked about fees. I wanted someone who knew the law inside out and she immediately recommended Jacqui. Looking at her bio and her experience, I knew I was in safe hands. From our first formal meeting, through to the 2nd interview stage she was there supporting me and guiding me through my case. Her assistant (Lily) was equally supportive and responsive to emails and calls. Before the 2nd interview with the police, Jacqui explained what was going to happen and what questions might arise from the information provided by the police. Her guidance and expert view put my mind at ease, and her friendly personality when I met her at the police station helped ease my tension. By the end of the police interview, she assured me that it would be highly unlikely that something would come of this. Few months on, she was spot on and I cannot thank Jacqui and Lily enough for supporting me through the hardest time of my life. Thank you both.

After comparing local law firms I decided to proceed with Slee Blackwell based on reviews and the service received upon enquiry (others were quite rude) . I was represented by Jen Law. Very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge from Jen. All potential outcomes were meticulously assessed and the advice received was excellent. Luckily Jens time was covered under the free advice at police stations scheme however if this was not the case I would of happily paid based on the level of service received. I highly recommend Jen Law and Slee Blackwell should anyone be needing legal advice.

I recently engaged Hannah Costley after being asked to attend a voluntary police interview. Having never been in trouble of any kind before I was incredibly distressed, Hannah recognised this and was proactive in immediately making contact with the police and taking as much of the stress away as she could. Hannah was understanding, compassionate and most importantly she listened to me. Her advice was broken down in a clear and concise way so that I had a clear understanding of next steps and she kept me fully up to date with where things were upto. Thankfully and no doubt thanks to Hannah's representations the matter was closed hours after my interview however Hannah continued to advocate for me after the fact when the police tried to impose unfair conditions. When already in a very distressing situation it can feel even more overwhelming having to reach out to a legal representative for help for fear of being judged however I can assure anyone finding themselves in a similar situation to the one I was in, after just the first few minutes of speaking with Hannah you will feel completely supported and the burden will feel less! I can't thank you or recommend you enough Hannah!

I contacted Farleys in June/July 2023 seeking support and justice following various breaches by Greater Manchester Police during my unlawful detention in May 2023. Alice and Joseph were there every step of the way and kept me informed during every step of the process.
