Need to consider the age of clients when using online processes.

As an older client who sometimes struggles with tech I found doing everything online stressful. I would have preferred face to face contact at least once and paper forms for certain aspects of the process.

Highly Recommend.

We have just exchanged and completed. Rachael Lee was amazing and guided me and my husband through what was a very stressful move. She was informative and helpful throughout. Could. It have stayed sane without her.

Efficient and informative

Tilly Bailey & Irvine helped me with selling my house. The service I received was consistent, concise, and timely. I only had dealings with one person which made the process easier and they were readily available whenever I contacted (especially via email). The best customer service I've had from a solicitor.

Sale and purchase of house

From first contact, Tilly Bailey and Irvine have been amazing. I was able to contact them whenever needed and they made the experience of selling and buying a property very straightforward for me. They were very understanding and friendly while still professional, at a very stressful time.

Moving house

It was a long process but Maria Northrop's team from the Stockton office guided me all the way especially as I had never moved before and thanks to her team following a painful last minute pull out my house has been sold and I am looking forward to moving into my new house hopefully as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Highly recommended! We used Tilly Bailey and Irvine for our conveyancing on the sale of a property. We had a bad experience with a solicitor on a previous purchase so were extremely cautious, however, the team at Tilly Bailey were fantastic. In particular, Toni Dack and Amy Moody the two Paralegal's that were on our case were great they answered emails and phone queries promptly and professionally. They were a pleasure to work with. Thank you team.

We were put in touch with TB&I via our Mortgage advisor, and within 48 hours we have stopped using this solicitor for the purchase of a house.
I called up and paid £475 to begin the searches, and even got a text confirming receipt of the payment. Only 3 hours later i was contacted by email from a paralegal working on our case, who said I needed to make payment for the searches, and that the cost was £425, due to go to £475 the next day. So right away I felt cheated out of £50, when I called to discuss this I was given some rubbish about how the email was wrong and it was in fact £475 - convinient. The next day, I then discover that they have taken the £475 TWICE.
I was told that this would be refunded today (Friday) and it has not been. This is now holding up payment to the new solicitors we have. £475 is a lot of money and I cannot afford to wait for it.

Please note - all of the above has taken place within 48 hours. I dread to think how the process would have gone had we have stuck with them for the purchase.

When I have emailed enquiring about the refund, all I get are vague email replies stating the funds "should" be back and are due into my account - i should hope they are due in my account - but when?!?
TB&I have wrongly taken £475 of my money and now are ignoring my emails.

Utter shambles
