During the buying process on a property I was assigned Rachael and Charmaine as my legal team. They were friendly, approachable and helpful in all matters. Any queries I had were answered promptly and fully. The transaction took some length of time through no fault of this legal team but they kept me informed and up to date of any checkpoints and milestones and promptly asked for documents ahead of time making it run very smooth on my side. I have found a great legal team here and will definitely be using them for any future legal matters. Thanks again Rachael and Charmaine, your help was very much appreciated!

This has been the first experience of buying a home and hopefully it will be my last. Not all issues have been caused by this solicitor as a great deal of issues was caused by the sellers solicitor. However the biggest issue that plagues the team i have is lack of communication. We started this process in march and the problems started there. We were told to pay £100 for the searchs and a link would be sent to us, that link never arrived so after three weeks of waiting, i had to rin up for the links to pay and for the AML searches. Fast forward a few months with no communication unless i rang up, it is now one week before my mortgage offer expires, last week i was sent documentation to sign and send back to the team. This was sent via email, which i sign ditigally with a witness present on 12/08/2026, today i have rang to make sure that the team received the forms and was informed that they need wet signature copies. At no point in the previous week was i told that they need to be hand signed, no where in the original email was this relayed to me and the subsequent phone calls with questions relating to the documents did the team tell me that i need to print them off. 11 days to go before my offers expires and im being sent documents to sign and send back.

A special mention has to go to Frankie, the paralegal, who has been incredibly patient, friendly and helpful throughout. I know I’ve asked a lot of questions and needed reassurance at various points, but Frankie has always taken the time to explain things clearly and never made me feel like I was being a nuisance. I am entering this review on behalf of my elderly mother. She recently sold her property and bought a new property and Tilly Bailey and Irvine acted for her . Bethany Smith was our conveyancing executive . Bethany was very responsive to our queries and dealt with emails in a timely and professional manner . She was available to speak to my mother ( who was unable to communicate via emails). The whole conveyancing process is very protracted but Bethany made it as painless as possible . I would thoroughly recommend Tilly , Bailey and Irvine.

As our sale was of a type that we were unfamiliar with, plus at long distance and digital. The process was well explained and when we requested a paper version it was swiftly supplied. Contact was simple, emails answered in a timely manner. Our particular transaction didn't require speed for completion, when a date was put forward it was met without any holdups. Wonderful service from Denise Donkin. The stress of paying off a help to buy loan is not something I wish to ever experience again. But Denise went above and beyond for me to help me sort it out as fast and painless as possible. Although the over all experience of conducing the pay back with Help to Buy was a stressful experience.
