Restoration of a Pension

After a divorce, part of my pension was stopped but this was not my then wife's intention - even the pension company accepted that. It has taken me four years to have the pension restored but it required a court order which my solicitor helped me obtain.

House Sale

I found Jessica at Tilly Bailey & Irvine very efficient and helpful. When muy first sale fell through on the day of exchange she phoned me to tell me, where I am sure it would have been easier for her to email. I appreciated that. Would recommend.

Very professional

TB & I have just helped me purchase my home, from the very beginning they have kept me well updated and informed of procedures.
Frances Magee in particular who i was dealing with was very patient and professional with me even during a very stressful period, was understanding and helped move the procedures forward by going the extra mile.
Well done team, and thanks again. Top job.

Exceptional First-Time Buyer Experience

We recently dealt with Kelly & Frankie for our first-time mortgage, and the entire process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free from start to finish. From our very first interaction, they were professional and clearly explained every step, making what we thought would be a daunting process feel straightforward.

Communication was excellent—we were kept updated at every stage, and any questions we had were answered promptly and thoroughly. Their attention to detail and proactive approach ensured there were no delays or surprises.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Tilly Bailey & Irvine to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly solicitor. Thank you for making our first home purchase such a positive experience!

Highly recommended!

Stress free experience

As first-time buyers, we were quite nervous about the whole process, having heard so many nightmare stories about purchasing a home. Thankfully, with Kelly Levoir and Frankie Northrop, we had absolutely nothing to worry about.

From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. There were no delays at all, and they kept us updated throughout the entire process. Their excellent communication, responsiveness, and clear guidance made what we thought would be a stressful experience into a straightforward and positive one.

We were amazed that our purchase was completed in just under 10 weeks. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend Kelly and Frankie to anyone buying their first home (or any home!).

Property sale and purchase

I was referred to Tilly Bailey & Irvine LLP (TBI) by my estate agents' conveyancing department; I was required specifically to appoint a recognised firm of solicitors with experience of handling the porting of a lifetime mortgage (a condition set by my lifetime mortgage provider).
TBI have this experience and from the outset were very helpful in helping me navigate through the process of selling my property and buying a new one under this circumstance.
I found the handling of my account extremely efficient. My appointed solicitor (Olivia Linton) and her assistant (Caitlin Ford) answered any queries I had very quickly, provided clear and concise communication (via telephone, email and LLP's online portal) so I was easily able to check progress throughout the transactions. In addition, Olivia most certainly acted with my best interests in mind, often pre-empting potential issues that could have arisen when dealing with my seller's solicitor. Both her and Caitlin kept me up to date and fully informed throughout the whole transaction and very patiently talked me through some of the more complicated legal terms associated with the process. I have no hesitation is recommending the firm.

Excellent service from Jess Garthwaite

Jess has been so helpful, professional and has taken time to explain things to me when I have called with a query or something I didn't understand. She was so friendly and explained things clearly and in a straight forward manner. We were kept updated on the process of the sale both verbally and via an app. Would definitely recommend Jess and would use her again

Amazing under pressure!

Thank you so much to Jess Garthwaite of TBI, she has been so helpful and brilliant throughout my remortgage. Thank goodness she knows exactly what she’s doing as I had no idea about any of it, but she did everything for me, keeping me informed all the way, and even with time and unhelpful people against her! So thank you, you’re amazing Jess!

I’ve just completed on my first house with the help from this firm, it was not an easy process as I had to switch solicitors fairly far through the house buying process. This firm took my case on and we’re absolutely amazing from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend using this firm if buying a house, my previous solicitors were all online and just having a local solicitor in a physical office made such a difference. Rebecca was my solicitor and she was amazing, literally cannot thank her and this firm enough.

Totally uninterested in your case, solicitor took two weeks to get back to me despite ringing and emailing daily and booked me in for an appointment days before my court date where he skimmed over my notes when I arrived and told me that I had no defence. I have found a new solicitor that has now built a strong defence.
