Education Law successful
Mr Lomax resolved our Legal dispute whereby the Local Authority who had previously confirmed 15 times in writing, and twice verbally, tried to remove our sons Secondary School SRP placement, two months after the confirmations. By doing so the Local Authority broke several Laws, but Mr Lomax was very succinct in the way he worded this to them, and even the Local Authorities own Solicitors stated their own Client did not have a case/defence. Ultimately only the Government Secretary Of State For Education could remove the placement named in the finalised EHCP. Mr Lomax got the right result for us, and made our side of the legalities as stress free as they could be in such circumstances. Thank you to Mr Lomax. Watkins came highly recommended by two other Solicitors, and indeed delivered excellent service.
I might add, winning the legalities ultimately gives us no pleasure as it should not have been needed in the first place. It also makes you wonder how many other children/famiies the Local Authority have tried to do this to and have got away with it, illegally.

The complete package
Our experience of Watkins solicitors was simply excellent. The advice we were given prior to the hearing was superb, and we were able to action all of their suggestions in good time.
Emma was diligent in her research, and would always reply to our questions whilst putting us at ease.
Come the day of the hearing, Beverley was exactly the right person to have representing us. She was strong, confident and absolutely focussed on what was important. Her knowledge of this part of law was unquestionable. In summary, should we have to seek legal representation again, Watkins will be our first and only port of call.

Amazing
We are parents of a child with lots of additional needs. Emma and Keith were amazing. Their calm, rational and very effective approach took so much pressure from us and helped us immensely. Their interventions enabled us to be calmer as we knew our matter was in professional hands. They helped us to get our child's needs met to a greater extent and we all benefitted from the outcome.
