Conveyancing of flat sale
Poor start in that I was assigned a solicitor, communicated it to estate agents etc, and then received an email telling me it would be another solicitor. Forms had to be changed.
This was a complicated sale, taking about nine months. It involved a flat in Sheffield, where buyer and estate agent were located, and a managing agent for the block of flats that had to deal with both buyer's and seller's solicitors. It caused delays at many stages. And the initial buyer withdrew causing further delay. But my (buyer's) solicitor handled it, and me, patiently, and was good at explaining the issues involved.

Sale of 36 Lancaster Rd, Overton
To whomever,
After being let down extremely badly by another firm, Wright & Lord picked up the pieces. Chanel and Kirsty kept my wife and I up to date with all information. They acted promptly to our and the buyers solicitor's, requests. We have one glitch towards the end, but Kirsty did all she could to deal with the matter successfully. A great overall service, which I would recommend to anyone. I will certainly be using their services, in the future. They are now my family solicitors.

Full marks for this solicitor
Wright & Lord Solicitors Ltd recently (2023) acted for us in the purchase of our new home. The service was first class all round, but we would like to mention what was the highlight for us. Some solicitors seem to delight in keeping their clients in the dark, or at least do not realise the key role that communication plays in managing stress and organising things when you are making the most expensive purchase of your life. Not only updates when there is a development but also, when there is a period of no news, reassuring emails that things are on track, provide such a relief.

Excellent professional service
I can’t recommend Wright and Lord enough, Chanel was my main point of contact, she answered my calls and emails within minutes and managed to complete my purchase within a number of weeks.

Conveyancing
It was a much longer experience this time due to so called Vendors delaying matters and pulling out of sale without notifying anybody and also to Land Registry back log but got there in the end with Chanel Hutton and team.

Excellent service
I’m sure Wright and lord were happy to see the back of me and my constant hassling but every time I called or emailed with questions or wanting updates the members off staff were polite and helpful and managed to get the job done in very quick time. From the day we put our offer in to the day we moved in was just over 2 months which was much quicker than everyone expected.
