My first consult was with James, I had no idea what the road ahead was going to look like, and James was extremely calming, knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me to navigate the first few weeks of this incredibly distressing and upsetting process. With James' assistance I made my choices going forward and I have never regretted them. Abigail took on my case and the rocky road began. In comparison my ex-husband's solicitor appeared to be childish, inexperienced, incompetent and too trusting of his word. Abigail has been totally professional throughout whilst offering me kindness, thoughtfulness and sincerity. Her letters are a wonder to behold, each and every one carefully worded and with the desired outcome in mind. Every step of the way was explained clearly to me, I had sign off of all communications and the fees were clearly explained to me throughout. One of the things that really stood out to me was the speed at which Abigail responded, his solicitor took so long to respond to everything, which just added to the angst that this process brings. This whole process, clearly always going to be tough and upsetting for anyone, was handled with the utmost care, professionalism and incredible knowledge of the system. I am almost at the finish line and at the start had no idea how I was going to summon the courage to battle against the 'other side', with Abigail at the helm, I coped and yes there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but only thanks to her.
