James is an excellent solicitor. His knowledge is first class and his calmness and pragmatism, made a difficult and drawn out (by the other side) process easier. James not only listens, he hears and when I received letters to approve, he managed to perfectly articulate my sentiments in a way that I never could. James is a realist and managed my expectations well, so that eventually we got the best result. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

In September 2021 I found myself in need of a solicitor,on recommendation I contacted the family law firm Antony Clapp Solicitors and a meeting was arranged at their Maidstone office, it was at this meeting I met Mr James Heywood, an experienced solicitor with many years to his credit and also to his credit he is a nice fella, very easy to talk with but absolutely professional in his field, I was married when I met him, I am now divorced and have achieved the outcome I wanted, all thanks to James.
