Really helpful

Unique experience
Churchers were recommended to me and I am glad I acted upon it. Following my first enquiry, I was guide towards Matthew Bailey as I came under one of his specialties. By the second conversation with Matthew, I felt I was talking with someone I had known for years who was given me sound advice, it did not feel like a typical client/solicitor relationship. Matthew was sound in his knowledge and advice. Also, empathetic to my situation which allowed him to understand the problem and therefore I had complete trust. It was refreshing to deal with a human being rather than an income generator. Advice given to a Citizens' Advice client
When I was 70 I was, I feel, taken advantage of by one of the big conglomerates and 'tricked' into letting a contract on the understanding that they would pay the bill. When it came to it they paid less than half and refused to pay any more. I am now trying to fight this case through the Small Claims Court . i am being supported by Citizens' Advice who very kindly arranged a this meeting with Matthew Bailey . I needed advice on the content of papers for the hearing, how to respond to an offer from the defendant and the pros and cons of each way forward. Mr Bailey was professional in his delivery of critique of my papers, was patient in explaining points that weren't obvious to me on how the system works and very helpful in developing the contents of my reply to the defendant's offer. Although not every thing he said was what I wanted to hear I appreciate his advice and feel better prepared for what is to come. I hope this invaluable opportunity will continue to be made available to others in the future.
