Noreen joined Clifford Johnston & Co as a trainee solicitor in 1995, qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. She is a longstanding member of The Law Society Mental Health Panel, since 1/3/2000. She has worked in many areas of law over the years, specialising in criminal defence and mental health work. She now heads the Mental Health Department and works exclusively in the area of Mental Health law. She is a regular attender before the First Tier Tribunal appearing weekly at tribunals. She provides advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of Mental Health Law. She is a member of the Mental Health Lawyers Association (MHLA). Prior to qualification Noreen worked as an advisor with the Citizens Advice Bureau.
