Amanda has over 30 years’ experience in the Property Market. Originally from the North-East of England, Amanda’s career started in Durham City where she worked her way through the ranks to a conveyancing assistant before relocating to St Neots in 2011. Amanda then worked in Cambridge for Thomson Webb & Corfield where she again assisted fee earners, including the Head of Department, with the day to day running of conveyancing transactions. Having placed her studies on hold earlier in her career to care for her young family, Amanda started out on her studies to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer, qualifying in 2019. Amanda is passionate about providing clients with a positive experience, keeping them up to date and providing clear explanations where required. Amanda believes that communication is key not just with the client but also the estate agents and other professionals within the chain to ensure a smooth process. Outside of work Amanda enjoys visiting her family and friends back in Durham and spending time in her holiday home in France along with her husband and son. To unwind she enjoys cross-stitch, reading and listening to music.

    Always there and always positive.

    We had a very long sale of shared ownership and purchase of a new build but through every step was very informative and always there when you needed, we got down to the exchange and completion being not even 24 hours apart while I felt like walking on glass Amanda remained calm and positive, then when the news come through we are moving tomorrow from her it was music to our ears, To sum up our experience with Amanda at Vanessa Newman property lawyers it was 10 / 10 and would highly recommend to anyone that was looking for a excellent service and able to communicate with them at anytime in the process.

    Vanessa Newman Property Lawyers are the only solicitor worth trusting. I would say with my personal experience Amanda & team are honest, accurate, super efficient, understanding, quick in response & expert in their field. Amanda has been absolutely amazing throughout the purchase of my home. She has gone above and beyond at every opportunity. The whole team have been fantastic keeping me updated with progress and when Amanda hasn't been available the team are able to provide updates. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've wasted my money on other solicitor firms before I came to know about Vanessa Newman so I only prefer Vanessa Newman and no one else.
