I had instructed Laura MacSporran, Associate Solicitor in the Employment Team to provide me with legal advice on a data protection claim against a local authority in Scotland, I found Laura to be very knowledgeable and very articulate in her knowledge of data protection law and might even go so far to say this is definitely an area of law she specialises in. Laura was also very pleasant in her e-mail communications with me and very responsive and wouldn't hesitate to instruct her again in a data protection claim if required or indeed an employment dispute, I would also not hesitate to refer any friends to her too. I will be instructing MSHB LLP to prepare my power of attorney for me in due course as the firm has exceeded my expectations in it's excellent customer care standards.

Outstanding legal services
I was supported by the employment team on a work placement dispute concerning discrimination that occurred on a work placement by an employment services provider. Laura MacSporran was my solicitor and was assisted by Calum MacLean and Linda Reilly who were always happy to assist when a task needed completing. Laura is an outstanding solicitor who was determined to ensure the rule of law was upheld and justice was done and she presented my claim to an employment tribunal which was settled a few days before the final hearing in the face of overwhelming evidence in support of our claim. Laura replied to all e-mails in a timely manner, she ensured that I received sensible advice and was proactive in representing my best interests. Linda and Calum were a pleasure to deal with too and were efficient and friendly and were always happy to assist. I highly recommend this firm and its specialist employment team. I have absolutely no recommendations to make on how the firm can improve its service to its clients as they delivered an exceedingly perfect legal service to me.
