A great outcome
I contacted Mike because we had a claim from an ex-employee. This came via a very angry and forceful letter form a solicitors practice acting on their behalf. Mike was immediately reassuring but honest and recommended we bring in a KC to send a very robust response. We took his advice and the claimant immediately backed down. I quick and very satisfactory outcome.
Mike is also thoroughly professional at all times and very responsive (even out of hours!)

Quite smply: you couldn't ask for more.
I had an enquiry about a dispute that's arisen with a contractor during the renovation of our house.
Mike Carter was SO good at taking me through the various options - and his advice and ability to convey the complexities of the situation have definitely made me feel I have a better understanding of the situation now. And this was unpaid for advice - which included him guiding to towards the realisation that he wouldn't be the right option for me to take in this instance - but, based on this call alone, Slater Heelis will be the first people I call if I ever need a solicitor in the future.

Great service and result
I instructed Mike Carter to pursue a couple of bad debts which were causing me significant concern. I am pleased to say that, thanks to Mike and his assistant, Mitchel, both matters have been resolved. As a small business owner, this was a great relief and I am extremely grateful to Mike and Mitchel for the way they handled both matters. I found them to be easy to deal with but they were tenacious in pursuing the debts on my behalf. I am very grateful to them both and extremely satisfied with the outcome.
