Jonathan Dunkley - Hugely experienced, straightforward and incredibly generous with his time – I would highly recommend and will certainly be recommending him to friends in the South East. Since Covid, I really don't think geography needs to be a barrier to finding the right solicitor. What impressed me most about Jonathan was that he genuinely put himself in my shoes and focused on maximising my prospects rather than maximising his fees. After taking the time to read a substantial amount of material relating to a complex financial matter, he spoke to me at length and was completely candid about the approach he thought would work best for me – even though that meant recommending that I take a different route rather than instructing him. He didn't stop there. He recommended someone he thought would be particularly well suited to my case and contacted them himself, explaining that an introduction from him was more likely to get a response. When it transpired that person wasn't available, Jonathan followed it up and came straight back to me with another recommendation. I came away from the conversation feeling that Jonathan genuinely wanted to help me achieve the best possible outcome, regardless of whether there was anything in it for him. That is quite rare, and I am extremely grateful for his time, judgement and generosity.
