Safe money and mental Illness
I'd like to give zero stars to Nick Potter for his "work not done properly“, but the minimum is 1 star.
I wouldn’t recommend Nick Potter at all, stay far from him in all the way Nick and his team, the process was so stressful due to their way of communication, I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Their email replies took weeks, and were impossible to be reached by phone, there was always an excuse why they can’t be reached. They have missed a very important thing, they forgot to register our commercial lease of 16 years back in 2019 even though we paid for his services 4300£ plus the land register fee. We realised that after one month we started the process of selling our place in November 2023, basically we could not give the title number to the buyer’s lawyer to prove that the lease was registered and sellable, that causes us big stress, big pressure and massive financial loss because of the delay we lost 2 buyers, so we lost £100k. We were waiting until now to find an amicable way to get this sorted but they are not open (want to say they actually ignored us altogether). Stay away from this lawyer and his team if you wanna save money and spare your mental health.

Great mid size firm with a professionnal service at a good price
We have used Bishop and Sewell many times for conveyancing (Nick Potter). The service has always been very good and reasonably priced. Some of the properties were tricky and involved re-development and they were very good. We also used them for litigation with a property sale that had gone wrong and they were very good. Finally we use them to advise on employment law and rental agreements and again the service was very good.
