Safe money and mental Illness

I'd like to give zero stars to Nick Potter for his "work not done properly“, but the minimum is 1 star.
I wouldn’t recommend Nick Potter at all, stay far from him in all the way Nick and his team, the process was so stressful due to their way of communication, I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Their email replies took weeks, and were impossible to be reached by phone, there was always an excuse why they can’t be reached. They have missed a very important thing, they forgot to register our commercial lease of 16 years back in 2019 even though we paid for his services 4300£ plus the land register fee. We realised that after one month we started the process of selling our place in November 2023, basically we could not give the title number to the buyer’s lawyer to prove that the lease was registered and sellable, that causes us big stress, big pressure and massive financial loss because of the delay we lost 2 buyers, so we lost £100k. We were waiting until now to find an amicable way to get this sorted but they are not open (want to say they actually ignored us altogether). Stay away from this lawyer and his team if you wanna save money and spare your mental health.

Exceptional outcome with lease extension for my flat

When I was thinking of a lease extension for my flat, I was very worried. I didn't know how to go about it and was also aware that this isn't an easy process. I contacted Karina Kapur at Bishop & Sewell and I am so glad that I did.

Karina is an exceptional solicitor with great legal knowledge. I was given the correct recommendations at every stage, was kept fully aware and she was very professional and clear. The lease extension process took a while due to delays from the freeholder but Karina always kept me informed with her timely and clear responses. Thank you Karina for making this process stress-free and for your support and continued work in extending this lease. I would happily recommend Karina as a solicitor for all your house and property legal matters. Thank you Bishop & Sewell.

Leasehold Extension

Karina Kapur assisted us with a leasehold extension which, unfortunately, span over a couple of years from start to finish. Throughout the entire process her professionalism and kindness stood out and rendered things very easy and palatable from our standpoint and we would highly recommend using her services.

Just excellent

Nicole helped me buy my first apartment in London. She is an excellent solicitor -- she handled the deal professionally and quickly.
Since this was my first home and I was in another city, I had many questions to which I always received transparent and clear answers. There were no concerns along the way.

Therefore, I will recommend her services to my friends.

Great service at a very reasonable fee

Karina Kapur looked after us during a very long drawn and tricky transaction where the residents were trying to acquire the freehold of their building. The freehold title was riddled with charges and the seller - a firm specialised in selling distressed assets - was very unmotivated. Karina, who is very knowledgeable in property matters, was relentless in chasing them and painstakingly researching and having all the charges removed. She did an amazing job and got us the results we were hoping for. She negotiated well on our behalf and always had our best interest at heart. She also was kind with her fees level. I couldn't recommend her or her legal firm more.
