As a first time buyer this process can be extremely convoluted and confusing without the right legal advice. Bradley and the conveyancing team were excellent from start to finish. They were extremely professional, responded quickly to my questions and concerns, and helped clear up any issues and complexities around the end to end process. Curwens handled my case very well, provided me with all the information I needed as a buyer, and made the exchange and completion dates seamless; it was an amazing execution on a freehold property. I would use them again if I had the opportunity.

Bradley was an engaged, pragmatic, and highly experienced lead throughout the flat purchase process, and his professionalism was greatly appreciated. He provided clear direction and instilled confidence at key stages of the transaction. However, there were gaps in the support provided by the wider team. At times, communication lacked sufficient clarity or was wrong, and more proactive guidance and sharing of critical information would have been beneficial. Greater attention to detail and coordination across the team would help avoid some of the issues encountered. In particular, the final completion stage presented unforeseen challenges, resulting in an unexpected delay of 4–5 hours. This had a knock-on impact, resulting in the cancellation of the snagging survey and furniture delivery, causing understandable frustration (and unnecessary costs) for all parties involved. Overall, while the leadership and expertise at the senior level were strong, there is an opportunity for the supporting team to provide more consistent, detail-oriented, and proactive support to enhance the overall client experience.

I was in talks with Bradley through two properties, and he was excellent throughout. There’s often negative comments about solicitors but I honestly can say that Bradley broke that stigma. He was constantly available via email, and provided clear, and concise advise. If any home buyer/seller is on the fence about using Bradley or Curwens then I strongly suggest they take my word that they’re great.

I approached Curwens when my late Aunt was in a Care Home and found them immediately to be of fantastic assistance in every way right from when my Aunt passed away to Probate and then the eventual sale of her Property. We have used Curwens LLP twice now — first when purchasing our flat as first-time buyers, and again when selling that flat and buying a house while part of a chain. I couldn’t recommend them more, especially Bradley, who was consistently available and supportive throughout what became a long, roller-coaster process. Bradley provided exceptional assistance during both the sale and purchase. He stepped in numerous times to minimise delays caused by other parties in the chain and ensured everything moved forward as smoothly as possible. He and his team were incredibly responsive — often even outside standard working hours — which made us feel truly supported from start to finish.
