Sandy has just joined George Green as a Partner to work alongside Emma Fawkes-Underwood. Sandy comes with over 35 years of commercial property experience, having worked previously at Eversheds (with our CEO), Gateleys (with Phillip Round) Bevan Brittan (with Sarah Ward), and Irwin Mitchell (with Kate Hackett) . In Sandy’s most recent role, she acted mainly for first tier lenders, in addition to a number of SMEs and pension funds acquiring and disposing of commercial property. Sandy has a particular passion for development work and has acted for a number of public sector and private organisations, as well as registered providers on their acquisition, investment, and/or disposal of sites/units for development. Sandy also enjoys training and developing junior lawyers. Sandy’s commercial property experience spreads across all aspects of property from lenders, charities, NHS Trusts, local authorities, leisure and retail landlords, housebuilders, and other private limited companies. Sandy acts for a wide range of clients including investors, lenders, charities, individual and corporate landlords and tenants, pension trustees, and investment funds. Sandy has also dealt with the property aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions and local authority outsourcing of key services . There are few transaction types that Sandy has not dealt with over the years – agricultural being one of the few.
