Constructive advice

An unscrupulous so called business man ignored the business arrangement he had with my Father and wrongly issued a notice to quit the premises and wrongly named me as a defendant. Mr Somji reviewed the case and gave constructive advice on how to proceed.

I have participated in a summer internship at Witan Solicitors in their Birmingham office. From the onset, I could see a high level of dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients. Qarrar, the managing director, leads a team of highly skilled and reliable solicitors to provide excellent tailored advice to their clients. As a student, I benefitted from the personal and individual approach that Witan takes to its clients because I gained high exposure to a broad range of legal matters - commercial and personal. I got engaged in client meetings, attended a court hearing where Witan was representing its client, drafted legal documents and gained an insight into the business management perspective of leading a law firm. For a law student, this level of exposure to the legal world was unprecedented and unlike anything that I would gain in a big corporate law firm. I was given a high level of responsibility which meant that my learning curve was very steep.

The firm's culture is also amazing. I was welcomed by a group of hard-working friendly solicitors who all shared a strong team spirit and tackled their tasks head-on. I have witnessed the respect and dedication with which Witan approaches its clients. As a student, I can only recommend Witan Solicitors. If I were a prospective client, I would feel confident in choosing Witan because my legal needs would be in the hands of professionals whose number one priority is client satisfaction.
