Having a lot of issues with this company. Communication is extremely poor. We have been waiting 2 and a half years for Lindsey Fettes of Wilsone and Duffus to complete my late fathers estate, the last communication I had with her was April 17th when she was apparently finalising everything, she has not responded to emails or phone calls since that day. Complaint lodged with SLCC and Law Society of Scotland.
The firm’s brochures for the Gold Square office show a whole team ready to deal with the financial affairs of loved ones. In reality, there appears to be just one partner, Mrs Fettes …. ‘spinning the plates surrounded by the sound of smashing crockery’. By and large, direct email queries and updates go unacknowledged for long periods of time. Further, chasing up via email / direct call back requests are also not returned. When sporadic contact is begrudgingly given …. commitments are never kept. I rue the day choosing to use this firm. Please …. do yourself a favour and avoid.
Having been very patient with Lindsay Fettes ie waiting for nearly 18 months for her to lodge a POA, my emails and phone calls get ignored. I will be making a complaint to the Law Society of Scotland. I do not recommend using this firm at all.
Excellent service at their Dyce branch from Angela Hay. This solicitors are part of the Will Aid scheme. A brilliant scheme where solicitors give their time for free to make basic wills in return for a donation to Will Aid. The service from Angela was great and straightforward. Thank you for the service and partnering with Will Aid.
