Moving house is always stressful but Ben smoothed the way with his professional and extremely competent approach. He completed each stage accurately and on time - even when other parties delayed and didn’t get it right, his paperwork was ready and in place. Really disappointed I can’t give this company a five star review but we have had our money taken and received no service. We were first time buyers and our interaction with Jonathan Davey as our conveyancer was incredible. However, Wayne Roberts was assigned to do our deed of trust when we first started the buying process, when we received the first draft we were disappointed to see that the deposit for our house, the largest sum of money that needed to be protected, had been completely missed off of the deed despite being in our instruction form. When we flagged this to Wayne we not only never received an amendment but we never received a response at all. We politely chased the issue for many months and even contacted Jonathan to see if he could chase it for us and still not even an email from Wayne was receive to assure us he was working on it. We paid £400 up front in April for this deed of trust, received the incorrect draft in July and since then have been completely blanked despite now having moved and completed on our house. It’s very obvious that not only did he not care to amend his mistake he also couldn’t care any less about performing a job he has been paid to do or offering any kind of apology or rectification for the fact that we are now left without a deed of trust. Complete lack of care and regard for customers, their circumstances and their money!
John Roberts has provided a very reliable service. The timelines were clearly communicated upfront. No chasing has been required whatsoever. Our lease extension went very smoothly.
