As a family, following a recent health scare, we realised that we should really make plans for the future to provide as much protection and control over family assets and health as possible, but didn’t know where to even start. We had an initial meeting with Gemma who explained the value in creating a family trust and ensuring that powers of attorney are in place for both health and finance. We didn’t really know about any of these things beforehand, and it is obviously quite a sensitive and emotional subject to be dealing with, making plans for end of life/potential for serious illness in future, but also talking about finances in the same conversation. Gemma made the whole process incredibly easy, was really comforting/understanding of both the situation, but also the mixed emotions of trying to do the right thing, but also trying to protect finances/property, when in reality, health is of course the most important thing. As a family we would highly recommend Gemma and the team at Cygnet Law. They’ve explained everything to us, the positives and the negatives with all options, made the process really simple and ultimately have left us feeling a great peace of mind that our family affairs are all in order, and in the event of a serious illness or even death, that we have all the necessary legal protections/documents in place to make what will be an incredibly tough period just that bit easier by removing/reducing administrative burden and protecting the families interests.

I would very much recommend Cygnet Family Law to anyone, they're brilliant at what they do! Me and my wife sold our property last year and bought a new build and used Vicci Mcgee as our corresponding solicitor. She made the process flawless, always keeping us updated whenever she could. If she was ever busy or out of office, her secretary Kath would always support in Vicci's absence. An absolute pleasure to have worked with Vicci and would never hesitate to be a client in the future.

i was new to court proceedings and very lost with it all until i found zakia and her assistant Anna. they have been amazing! everything i’ve been not sure on has been explained well and gone smoothly up into the court dates itself i was never alone they were always an email away if i had questions or queries. they have been there every step of the way and i am forever greatful. They helped me win my case and made me and my family forever safe and i can’t thank them enough! Definitely recommend this amazing woman to help you in your case.

A relative passed away and we needed help with their will and probate. We were told by a friend that Gemma Brooke was the best at dealing with this. On our very first meeting with Gemma she was very friendly and made us feel at ease. She told us not to worry and that she would take care of everything. Well, I can honestly say that Gemma has gone above and beyond at keeping us informed every step of the way.
