Barrister good. Solicitor unprofessional
Initially got done what I needed but the way the office handled queries and lied about who I was talking to when I called. I got the service allocated through domestic violence proceedings at court and was dealt with unprofessionally and was not clearly explained process. Edward, answered the phone and stated ‘Edward is not here he is busy in a meeting’ but after about two minutes of conversation, it was revealed I was actually talking to Edward and he was just trying to avoid the phone call and was blatant about the lie and completely unapologetic. Got offended when I asked for the paperwork to use another firm to finish proceedings and stated ‘I have done the work already so why would I give my work to another solicitor when I have already done the work’ Excuse was basically, you’ve got our service for free from the court so get what you’re given. Avoided phone calls, wasn’t clear about process and unempathetic. Stopped using them for the rest of my case and got the result I wanted. Many spelling mistakes in statements which was bought up in court proceedings and did not forward details onto myself or onto other parties. Got my result after working from other advisers
