Was recommended Jane by a good friend in the estate agent arena , and true to his word Jane and staff at Dyer & Crowe , were professional in a emphatic Manner which would make me recommend them to anyone thinking of selling there property.

During the sale of my house they maintained regular contact, and did their best to maintain rapid progress.

We found Dyer and Crow had Excellent Service they were professional they looked after our interests Knew the Law stood firm with for us when they had to. There was always someone to talk to and everyone in the team knew about your case they have excellent communication within the company.

Positive experience both selling and buying a property.

This is the sixth time I have used Colin Crow and experience has been very good. However, again, the buyer used a solicitor recommended by their mortgage broker from somewhere up north who was a nightmare to deal with . I would recommend you always use a local solicitor. You can always pop in to see Colin, deliver documents and check progress. Highly recommended.

We used Dyer and Crowe to sell our house. They communicated mostly by email. In the beginning they provided a same day, reasonable quote, which was good. When we reached the final stage - exchange and completion - we received a phonecall and were kept well informed. Here the proceedings sped up considerably, which was great. However, the middle stage seemed frustratingly slow. We felt left in the dark, with lack of any updates or information for weeks on end. When we made enquiries, either by email, calling into their office or leaving a note, we had to wait weeks for a response. This was not so good. Subsequently I used different conveyancers to buy my next property.

I had a great experience with Dyer & Crowe handling my remortgage, which also included a Help to Buy loan repayment. Special thanks to Beth and Colin, who were both excellent throughout the process. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and communication was clear and timely at every stage. I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a straightforward and well-managed remortgage.

Avoid!!! This is a mostly paper based company, transactions are extremely slow as documents need to be printed, filled in by hand and posted or re scanned back. You spend a lot of time waiting for things in the post. Sometimes your case handler is off and the person in their out of office is off too, so no one who has a clue about your case is contactable. Online they advertise no sale no fee but they actually charge up to £500/£575 plus VAT for each sale and/or purchase that falls through for any reason. When we raised this Colin Crowe mocked us on the phone and said maybe we should have signed the document on their website site and not the one we were sent via email, and patronisingly said he was looking forward to our payment and if we didn’t pay the money would be ‘collected’. The documents on their website are old and incorrect and you will be sent documents which trick you out of your money. A couple of people who work here are kind and help as much as they can, but I would avoid due to how slow they are and how rude and unprofessional Colin Crowe is.

Online documents are not up to date. Terms of engagement state sales transactions are no sale no fee. Document sent to us states each transaction. Our sale fell through and we were charged on both sale and purchase abortive fees. I was put through to Crowe querying this, who mocked me on the phone when asking why I signed the contract then and said he looks forward to receiving our fees.
