Do not use this firm
We used this company to buy an investment property. We found that although a named individual was supposed to be dealing with our matter, in practise they were never available. Instead we were at the mercy of whoever answered the phone; no-one took ownership nor responsibility for progressing our purchase. When things went wrong there was no explanation, no apology and no sense that whoever we spoke to had any interest in getting things right. One male member of staff was more helpful but generally our experience was frustrating and we found the firm inefficient. When we complained about the rudeness of a girl who was insolent we were put on to the owner, Ann Luxford, who told us we had an attitude problem. At this point we would have taken the business to another firm except we were almost at the finish line so did not want to "cut off our nose to spite our face". Thereafter the firm neglected to pass our address on to the managing agent of the new property so we did not receive an important bill on time and could have been penalised for paying late. Overall we were shocked at the appalling complacency of this company and their rude behaviour.
