Regency Solicitors

I honestly do not know where to start but I would not recommend these solicitors at all. Communication was near on impossible, mistakes were made with huge amounts of money being transferred to wrong accounts, several incorrect statements, one including an additional £35,000 that they forgot I had already paid. Just a complete mess. The most frustrating part of the whole process was the lack of understanding of the urgency of certain elements of the process and the impossible task of actually making contact with my solicitor. My calls were ignored and I even had to make contact using other numbers that they would not know, which when I did were answered immediately. The amount of work I put into making sure I had everything in order to save stress further down the line was wasted. I had basically worked it all out for them but my emails were clearly not paid any attention to and mistakes were still made. When acting on my behalf I do not expect inaccurate and made up requests on my behalf but unfortunately on completion day it got back to me that my solicitor had told the developers solicitor that I did not have the money to pay one of the fees they had passed on and had asked to settle that aspect over the next few weeks. This not a request I would have dreamed of making and the truth of this matter and my actual request was completely twisted into a total lie. Do not use!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Regency Law. From the beginning, there has been a complete lack of communication and accountability. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, I have repeatedly been ignored and have not received any responses to my inquiries. Additionally, I have been unable to get in touch with the director, Ahmed Ali Khan, despite several efforts. This lack of accessibility and transparency has made the process incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I expected far better service from a firm that claims to be reputable, but unfortunately, they have failed on many accounts. I would not recommend Regency Law based on my experience. Communication and client care should be a top priority for any legal firm, and unfortunately, this firm falls far short.

I engaged this firm in the first instance because it was in close proximity which could facilitate face to face meetings. I was extremely impressed. On entering the office, I was immediately introduced to my case worker who was very easy to contact throughout. If not immediately on the end of the phone, she was able to make rapid responses by email. We all know that shifting houses can be stressful , something made much worse by not receiving frequent updates. However there was no problem here whatsoever.
