Disgusting treatment avoid this firm
Mum was in the hospice and the doctor asked for copy of the power of attorney, Charles Cant senior partner was rude, abrupt and kept talking over me couldn’t be bothered to get someone to go and look in the safe so my request was ignored despite 3 phone calls. Mum passed away so therefore it was no longer required. AVOID THIS DESPICABLE MAN!

Very Poor Service
We used the services of this Solicitor for a house sale and purchase. During the initial stages of the process I found our Solicitor very slow at responding to us and updates were non existent to which my wife and I found very frustrating at what was already a very stressful time. We lived with this frustration as it did not get any better during the whole process - slow updates and poor communication. Once the deal was done the fee's were sent through to myself for review which were wrong and needed amending. I paid the fee's as requested only to receive an email from the Solicitor a few weeks later saying that he had understated the fee amount and did not have enough to pay for the LLBT. As this was underpaid I would be liable for interest if not paid (£100) in time - and the time was in 3 days days. Unfortunately i did not have sufficient time to raise the funds and over ran the LLBT period giving me a penalty of £100. When i engaged with the Solicitor on this he flatly refused to pay the £100 penalty and said that i should have checked. Overall - shocking service and would not recommend this Solicitor to anyone!
