Norman provided us with exceptional service selling 2 properties. His professionalism and attention to detail ensured that all errors (sadly there were many) from the purchasers’ solicitors were spotted and dealt with accordingly. I highly recommend this firm.

We received service from D Douglas Mackie and this firm was recommended to us by Halifax. Our solicitor Mr. Norman Scott was absolutely professional. We must state that we feel lucky to have such a professional, helpful and patient solicitor. Our case was very difficult due to the initial problem with the title that was not pointed out to us by the seller during making an initial offer. Our Solicitor detected this problem and advised a proper course of action which we believe saved us from serious troubles with the registration. This Solicitor helped us much beyond his conveyancing service- and this was by writing letters that helped us to deal with our landlords, while we waited for the delayed purchase to be finalized. I believe choosing D Douglas Mackie was the best choice and the luckiest choice we can have whilst dealing with such difficult problems during conveyancing. We are convinced that without such professional service this transaction would never happen.
