Incredibly helpful and thorough

I have used this firm on two occasions and found David to be extremely thorough and efficient as well as welcoming. Felt very at ease and not rushed.

Diligence and Perseverance.

Simon Fisher has been my Solicitor through several house sales/ purchases and family matters for several years now. Our latest completion has been extremely complex, time consuming, labour intensive and depressing on occasion with 2 failed sales prior to this finally completing with no charges made for the abortive sales. Simon stuck with it, persevered and finally got us over the line. Thank you Simon. Truly feeling grateful & relieved :0)

Shockingly incompetent

Avoid this firm like the plague. Simon Fishers incompetence meant a whole year spent waiting for the conveyancing for my my sale. During this time he lied repeatedly about my own extremely efficient solicitor being at fault, he lied to my solicitor about problems with the purchaser, lied to the purchaser about the finance company, he lied to me about where he was in the process, he lied to my purchasers finance company claiming he was waiting on stuff that the purchaser had sent months previously and he repeatedly asked my purchaser for the same pieces of paper to be sent as he claimed he couldn’t find them ( they were sent via email and replies were received and then 4 months later he would ask for the same things again). During this time I lost 4 properties, 4 survey fees and one lot of architects fees which cost me thousands. My purchaser had his interest rate raised because Simon took so long to complete the conveyancing work (this added an extra £450 a month on to his mortgage. Which will cost him an extra 80K on the purchase price). He made the purchaser buy insurance in July didn’t complete till Christmas and had the cheek to demand payment before he dropped the bomb about the interest rate. Told us that the finance company were at fault and when we reached the finance company they told us this was absolutely NOT true and although Simon had insisted he’d sent the file over to them they told us this categorically was not the case. When my purchaser told him the finance company were still waiting for the file he threatened to walk off the case!!! Do not use this solicitor. My own solicitor told me they had an appalling reputation and he was absolutely correct. A catalogue of errors, lies and transparent attempts at blaming everything and everyone else. Utterly incompetent AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, SANITY AND HARD EARNED CASH. Simon Fisher is not a competent lawyer and he can not convey the simple truth let alone a property

A 'Can Do' Approach Underpinned by Total Fairness

I walked into the offices without an appointment wanting a statutory declaration officially witnessed. Within five minutes the job was done. Several Internet based Notary Services have a minimum charge of between £75 and £125. Luttons Dunford charged me £5. I cannot say how refreshingly pleasing it was to receive such a professional, timely, no-nonsense service without being ripped off. It was how things were 30 years ago. Thank you.
