Our solicitor, Nick Cleere and his team processed the legal work for our house sale quickly and efficiently. Nick kept us well informed throughout the whole process and all communication was clear to understand. The cost was as originally quoted and Nick's support made the process less stressful.

Mr. Philip Cartin was recommended to me. Based on my experience of dealing with him and his firm, I likewise am happy to recommend him and the firm. I found him to be very prompt and friendly. At no time did I ever feel uninformed or that I had to chase for updates. As a retired solicitor, I can also add that his knowledge and know-how were useful in terms of completing the transaction as well as keeping me informed. This was a transaction following a bereavement. His friendly and sympathetic handling were very much appreciated as well. I have no qualms in recommending Mr. Cartin and his firm based on my experience.

I had initial meeting with someone called Kim. I felt her communication was abrupt and rude and that continued in her emails too. Would not use again

The solicitor appointed to handle the purchase our freehold for a block of flats failed to properely communicate or advise during the process. Some examples are: * File notes confirming agreed actions were not provided. * The completion was brought forward by the solicitor by 3 weeks without agreement by the residents to the revised date. * The solicitor failed to convey there was an impending cut-off date to complete beyond which additional charges would accrue, and this had influenced his decision to bring the date forward. * The adjusted date meant that some residents did not have an additional monthly pay check and it looked for a while as though the purchase was in jeopardy. * Residents were given just 2 weeks to ensure they had all the funds available rather than 5 as had been discussed and agreed. * Eventually a compromise of bringing completion forward by a week rather than 3 weeks was agreed via a telephone call, however this was not confirmed in writing so residents were frantic due to the lack of comms. * A telephone complaint was made in line with Anthony Gold's complaints procedure, and a call-back was requested. The complaint was redirected to the solicitor against whom the complaint was made rather than being dealt with properly. * Residents were made directors of the freehold company without their agreement.

Peter Mantell at the Elephant castle branch dealt with the conveyancing of my new house purchase. He was very good and efficient. I would recommend him and anthony gold solicitors.
