Poor experience with re-mortgaging
The conveyancing executive we dealt with seemed to lack detailed understanding of our request. Due to misunderstandings and poor communication, the process took many stressful weeks, with a large amount of unnessesary personal financial information being requested. There seemed to be an abscence of supervision or management input. Despite a number of circular email exchanges no clarification was sought, just more unnessesary information requested.
The lack of communication and misunderstandings only seemed to be resolved when I threatened to complain, and asked for a manager to intervene.
The delays led to the mortgage deadline nearly being missed.
