Although it can feel a bit odd, being passed to new departments, we have found that what this allows our staff to be able to focus on the specific elements of the transaction that they specialise in. This also therefore frees up the solicitor to focus on the legal work that needs to be done, as this means that they are not having to focus on developing quotes for new clients, handling compliance, and being monopolized by completions. Completions must take precedence over other files, to ensure our clients do not end up breaching their contract and so having a dedicated Completions team mean that our solicitors don't have to stop what they are doing to handle those. We are very happy to hear that this worked for you, and even though you started off a little uncomfortable, we were able to convince you otherwise by the end.
