Failure to meet fundamentsal procedure,
I worked for this firm and found many trust files where the Trustees/Executors, Ann Matthews and Stafford Day, utterly failed to comply with basic requirements, such as reviews of investments, trustee meetings, income tax returns and other basics, such as telling the clients of their terms and conditions. This appalling breach of duty went on for years and the Trustees refused to confront the matter - I found out of date cheques stuffed in files and cash left uninvested etc a nightmare. These two partners massively ove-charged clients over this period with great enthusiasm for a frankly blatant lack of compliance with fundamental rules. They both also exploited me for thousands of pounds and many other poor fee-earners, grinning and smirking all the way. No wonder they had such a rapid turnover of staff. Avoid this firm at all costs.
