Brilliant solicitor

Sophie has been absolutely brilliant helping me through my very stressful divorce. She’s been so professional, responsive and reassuring. I actually engaged the services of Worthingtons who then decided to close down without telling me. It took me over a month to track down my job to Robson and Co who had also failed to notify me that they had now got my job. They, Robson & Co then took over 2 years and 3 months to re-imburse me an overcharge. If you rated Robson & Co against other solicitors in that area then they don't look quite as unprofessional as I have found, after 25 years and quite a lot of sales and purchases, that most of the solicitors in the Folkestone area are pretty awful.

This review is for a different branch.

Attempted a property title amendment during Covid and was treated dismissively and overcharged by Robsons who avoided questions regarding the cost by just saying they were correct. The title amendment took several years due to the paperwork being incorrectly submitted by Robsons three times. The only reason I gave two stars is that a trainee solicitor recently correctly the situation in a polite and informative manner. Thank heavens the original solicitor no longer work for them. Previous long term dealings with Robsons have always been positive so it looks like just one bad apple.

The probabte application was made 5 months after I asked for it to be done which was annoying and may have cost me money but the conveyancing was efficient.

extremely helpful during a difficult and complicated case

I was impressed by the management of my sale and purchase as we had a problem with my wife's Limited Power of attorney which held things up substantially, Robson (Jackie) was so patient and carried on till completion, I would definitely recommend this Company.

I have approached Robson and Co solicitors to deal with my divorce after my ex husband forced me to sell our marital home. I was completely in the unknown about where to start , what’s the process entails , completely unaware , completely exhausted and scared. I could not recommend Robson’s more , from the welcoming and understanding receptionists to my amazing personal solicitor Sophie, and later on the conveyer Barbara. Sophie was just amazing , her understanding , her patience , her fight, her knowledge , her positivity , and her motivation and smile got me and my daughter through some very difficult times and I would be lost without her.
