After receiving my final payment off the third party they sent me a cheque which arrived 3 weeks later. I was then informed by my bank that the cheque had bounced. They then agreed to pay me by bank transfer after they investigated why it had bounced and to cancel the cheque now 4 days down the line I'm still waiting for my money this been sitting in there bank account for weeks...avoid
What an awful solicitors service this is. No response for months after multiple emails and attempted phone calls. No one evens answers at this point. If you use this firm you will be highly disappointed. Use Hill Slater at your own risk.
I have received a very poor service, I still haven't received a payout after my case was settled some months ago. I was informed by the solicitor dealing with my case (over the phone) that I owed the firm money and would not be receiving any payment. So I asked to be sent the bill with a breakdown to show how i owed them. It has been a couple of months and i still have not received a bill/breakdown. I have sent several emails requesting the bill/breakdown with no response. I sent another email and tried to call today but nobody answered and I was unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full? I will update in 1 week from now.

After a year and 3 months they had awful service. No compensation for my kids they recovered in July 2023 accident was in jan 2023 but they didn’t receive a single penny.wasted all my time now not happy with settlement and going for advice from a different solicitor. Hopefully I will sue them. Horrible service which I was already expecting so not surprised.
