Selling my house using Kjd law for conveyancing company suggested by my estate agents. Currently 26 weeks has passed and we are only half way trough the process. The average time for a house to compete is 12 weeks! Avoid this company!
Property left in will by mother to 3 equal parties. KJD Law only seem to contact one person who does not have any greater say than the others. KJD Law do not communicate with everyone equally, they do not liaise with the other solicitor on the buying side and they do not even check their paperwork. They have now prepared for the sale of this property quoting on all documents with the wrong address.
We used KJD Law for our mortgage and they have been amazing from day 1. Tiegan has been our solicitor for the past few months and she has been absolutely fantastic, always keeping us in the loop with everything, informing us of what was getting done and what we needed to do. The whole experience has been smooth sailing and we wouldn't have gone anywhere else after being with KJD Law. Brilliant solicitors.

I needed to sort out ( lasting powers of attorney ) and also update a very old will. Made an appointment with Helen who talked me through the process, she explained everything very clearly and even took the time to give me some excellent advice on inheritance tax. My LPA and will were sorted out very quickly and efficiently. I can’t recommend this company highly enough. And especially Helen for looking after me so well.

The app provides frequent updates, but I found them mostly unhelpful. Communication during my case was poor, and I felt that my concerns weren’t taken seriously. In my experience, working with Lydia Cunliffe was frustrating due to a lack of clear communication and responsiveness, and I found her manner to be quite rude. I wouldn’t recommend this service.

I recently sold a property and bought a new one. This was handled by KJD Law and in particular by Nerys Crompton. Nerys was brilliant at coaching me through the process even when I was getting stressed. She acted very professionally at all times and was extremely friendly throughout. I would thooughly recommend KJD Law and if you can engage Nerys as your solicitor then you are in good hands.

I am giving two stars purely for the fact that our first sale fell through & they didn’t charge extra fees for this which surprised me. Whilst I did feel that our appointed paralegal did chase our sale, I found her incredibly rude and dismissive most of the time to both myself and especially my partner. Our buyer used the same firm but a different paralegal under the rouse that it would help the sale move smoothly, but the communication between the solicitors was dire especially from our buyers solicitor. We were told we would receive call backs and didn’t on numerous occasions. We also requested a quote for an onward purchase which they never sent, which was honestly a relief in the end because the firm we ended up using for our onward purchase have been brilliant in comparison.
