Avoid at all costs – Unprofessional and exploitative
This firm managed to take an already stressful situation and make it exponentially worse. Three weeks before a crucial hearing, my solicitor abruptly dropped my case via text, claiming a sudden career change—which was, as it turns out, not true. I had already paid for the upcoming hearing, only to be passed on to a partner named Hassan.
After cancelling three scheduled appointments, Hassan finally emailed me with a summary of my case that was so inaccurate, it made it clear he hadn’t read it properly—or at all. Then, at 4:55pm on a Friday (how convenient), I received an ultimatum: pay an additional £2,300 or represent myself. Apparently, all the previously paid fees had been “used” on him reading the notes… badly, I might add.
To top it off, he told me we “didn’t have a case” and should leave it “in God’s hands.” Inspiring stuff—if your goal is to be gaslit and financially drained by someone who clearly sees desperation as an opportunity.
In short: this was a predatory, dismissive, and deeply unprofessional experience. When children are involved, people will pay anything for help—and they clearly know that. Which makes their conduct all the more disgraceful.
