If I could give Arrow 0 stars, I would. We were very excited to move house when we instructed Arrow in August 2025, with just 2 houses in our chain (first-time buyers purchasing our house, and us moving into an empty home). We thought it would be straightforward, but this was not the case. We were left unsatisfied with the lack of professionalism, communication, and urgency demonstrated throughout by Arrow. The service provided did not represent fair value for money caused significant additional stress to us during what was already a challenging time. I've broken down the major issues we had below: 1. Repeated queries: On multiple occasions we were asked the same questions, despite providing full responses back to the firm previously. The same enquiries were often repeated days later with no acknowledgement or accountability for the errors, even when speaking directly with staff. 2. Lack of communication: We received little to no proactive updates on the progress of our case. Emails frequently went unacknowledged, phone calls ignored etc., leaving us uncertain whether they have been read or actioned. 3. Difficulty contacting in general: Reaching staff by phone, including reception, has been consistently challenging, preventing timely resolution of issues. 4. Delays beyond expected timeframes: Progress towards exchange and completion was significantly slower than expected. In particular, we were waiting on enquiries for over 16 weeks in the end. 5. Administrative errors: Basic mistakes, such as emails stating “please find attached” without an attachment, caused further avoidable delays. In addition, we went and did some of the work ourselves! i.e. contacting the local council for documents. These took 5 mins, but Arrow made it seem like a long process that would take around 10 business days! We made a formal complaint which acknowledged all of this, and they offered us a measly reduction of a handling fee. We took this to the ombusdman and have today settled the complaint for considerably more. An absolutely horrifying experience throughout.
I used Arrow Conveyancing as a first‑time buyer after they were recommended by my mortgage broker, L&C. Because L&C are exceptional, I assumed their conveyancing partners would also be reliable. Unfortunately, my experience with Arrow Conveyancing was extremely poor from start to finish. Communication was consistently unprofessional. They were slow to respond, often unreachable, and I had to chase them repeatedly for basic updates. Much of the work was handled by juniors who clearly lacked experience and confidence, which led to multiple errors in important documents. Despite charging a fee for their “secure app,” almost everything was still done via email, making the app pointless. Their senior staff were surprisingly rude and inflexible, even when issues were escalated. The focus felt entirely on fees rather than customer service. They added several unjustified charges which I had to contest, wasting more of my time. They were not thorough, not transparent, and struggled to answer even basic legal questions. There were also serious quality‑control and compliance concerns. At one point, they breached my personal information by copying the wrong people into emails. They repeatedly asked for documents I had already provided, and even included duplicate charges under different names, which felt deceitful. They charged postage fees despite never posting anything to me. Even after completion, they failed to send a completion pack or the full set of documents. I had to chase them several times just to receive essential information. Overall, Arrow Conveyancing were unprofessional, disorganised, and customer‑care was almost non‑existent. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. I strongly advise others to stay clear.
Took care of us through the whole process.
After we completed the welcome pack and paid our fees, they became completely unresponsive and would not assign our case to an actual conveyancer, despite repeated follow-ups from us. This was despite sharing with them that multiple issues were piling up, which were delaying the process and required their immediate attention. If you value communication, customer service, & timelines, I would avoid this company.

Using Arrow Conveyancing, made buying my first home easy and straight forward.
Kayleigh was professional all through the selling process. Thank you The Redbrick portal can be tricky to use on a mobile phone.
I would give 0 is it could. They were the worse solicitors I and the estate agents have ever heard of. Firstly, they did not check where out buyers funds were held, which delayed the move by 3 months within days of our mortgage offer expiring. They took weeks to respond to emails. Then they agreed an exchange date, upon reaching that date, they would not answer emails of calls. The exchange was due to happen on a Monday, which became Tuesday, when they finally started reviewing the files and raising more enquiries... come Wednesday they requested the mortgage funds.. still no exchange, Thursday the same, so nothing was done beforehand in preparation. Come Friday, we planned to exchange and complete on the same day. We were planning the move ourselves with a man and trailer, so he came on Friday, we got the go ahead at 1 pm so started to load up the trailer with our matrass and sofa etc.. only to receive a call at 3pm saying they had lost the buyers money... or not actually checked they had it. At 4.30pm, our things out in the rain and they called to say they found the money but had no time to exchange so would have to be monday. We bought a tarpaulin and parked the trainer on our hopefully to be new house and left the the weekend having a sofa surf. We then had to take another day off work (being self employed we lose money) and rent a new van for Monday for the rest of our things. We were supposed to have the keys to the garage upon exchange and have a week to move our things... come Monday we finally exchanged and completed. Our solicitors tried to claim reimbursement from them but they said they were not liable as we hadn't exchanged... whos fault was that? Absolutely atrocious company and as soon as I have the energy I will try to take my complaints further... anyone reading this know how to file an official complaint about a solicitor?
Absolutely dreadful experience with Arrow Conveyancing. As first-time buyers, we expected guidance, communication, and competence — instead we were met with delays, confusion, and constant mistakes. It genuinely felt like our own solicitor had to do most of their work for them just to keep the purchase moving. Communication was poor throughout the entire process. We were constantly chasing updates, documents were missed or delayed, and simple tasks seemed far too difficult for them to handle properly. The lack of organisation and professionalism caused unnecessary stress at what should have been an exciting time. Buying your first home is supposed to be a milestone you remember positively, but Arrow Conveyancing completely ruined the experience for us. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable conveyance and service.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Arrow Conveyancing has been deeply disappointing. My case involved a remortgage and transfer of equity — removing a guarantor and adding my current partner to the property. A stressful process at the best of times, which is exactly why I trusted professionals recommended to me by my mortgage advisors. The biggest issue throughout has been communication — or rather, the lack of it. Emails regularly went unanswered, phone calls were difficult to get through, and responses often took weeks. I made it clear from the beginning that I needed guidance through a process I was unfamiliar with, yet I often felt completely left on my own. My mortgage lender has already extended my mortgage offer three times due to delays, and what should have been a manageable legal process has dragged on for months, leaving me under enormous stress and uncertainty. The final straw was a phone conversation today, which I found extremely unprofessional and upsetting. Instead of support, I felt dismissed and spoken over at a time when I was simply asking for urgent help regarding my mortgage extension. I appreciate that legal processes can be complex, but basic communication, professionalism, and client care should never be optional. Based on my experience, I would struggle to recommend Arrow Conveyancing to others.
Awful service. They do not offer surveys on the property internally being bought and did not inform a young first time buyer who has no knowledge about buying a property that they do not include surveys on the property which I thought was included in their services and did not advise me to do to ensure the actual property itself is safe to live in, which it is not due to severe rising damp that has clearly been an issue before buying the property and I unfortunately missed as the sellers did a botch job before selling it. Thankfully I don’t have any health problems that could have been worsened from the rising damp or any young children/babies that could’ve been made sick from it. If I could have given 0 stars I would’ve as this will now cost me thousands to repair.
Hi Candice, Thank you for your comments. We have reviewed the case management system, please refer to the email sent to you on 21st October 2025 which includes the report on title and states: 'You are purchasing the property subject to the doctrine of “caveat emptor” (let the buyer beware). Therefore you must satisfy yourself of the condition of the property and that there are no issues on any part of the property or land which may have an adverse effect on the value or marketability. This should be done by a personal inspection and also we advise a report is carried out by a professional surveyor. If you require names of surveyors to consult or to provide a price for a report, please do not hesitate to contact us.' Please note for future reference, that we are a conveyancing firm, not property surveyors. if you wish to discuss this further, please contact us directly. All the best from Arrow Conveyancing.
