Unprofessional and poor service
If I could give it 0, I would. The former partner of the firm, Stephen Friday passed away. His email address is still live with no warning message or monitoring. Queries are no responded to. Senior solicitor does not answer emails for weeks and when chased, there is no explanation. Mr Friday caried my conveyacing professionally, but I found subsequently that a specific piece of advice he provided, seemed incomplete or inaccurate. When I chased clarification after long periods of no response, the senior solicitor who took over Mr. Friday's portfolio, asked me to email back after the period of audit was finalised a month later. Further contact made to this soliticor went unanswered and after more chasing, finally! I received a curt response from her, stating I would have to pay a hefty fee, for that, even though the advice was paid for during my conveyancing. No apology for the lack of response. A complain went unheaded and unanwered. Poor service and unprofessional. I am going to need a conveyancer in the next few months, but I will certainly not use Percy Short & Cuthbert. I would suggest anyone considering this firm, took their custom elsewhere.
