Woodford Branch extremly efficient

I worked with Christabel at the Woodford Branch for my conveyancing on the sale and purchase of a property and found her extremely efficient and really liked that she kept you updated on the tasks completed which is what I have struggled with in the past with other solicitors and ended up chasing. I highly recommend Thirsk Winton!

Excellent Communication and Efficient

Christabel Fernandez acted for the sale of my home. I have never dealt with a solicitor who was so efficient. All relevant paperwork was emailed within 24 hours to me and the buyers solicitors. She was professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will be instructing Christabel in the future and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Trustworthy, Efficient, Friendly Service

I have used Thirsk Winton on several occasions over the past few years, including auction purchase, lease renewal, will making, power of attorney, and most recently sale and purchase of property. In every case the firm have been excellent, efficient, competent and trustworthy. They offer a down to earth, value for money service. My main contact is through partner Matthew Barrett, who has always provided me with great service. Christabel Fernandez recently handled my sale and purchase. She handled both in a competent, practical, efficient manner. I would not hesitate to recommend the firm and Christabel to others.

Unprofessional, Unresponsive & Rude

I wouldn't even give them 1 star.

When I was paying their fees the service was ok, however aftercare is the worse I have every experience from a law firm. They completely ignore my phone calls and emails for two months, they are all in "meetings" or on holiday every time I called. I even filed a official complaint to Jason Winton by following their own complaints procedure and 10 weeks later still not had a single response.

I have no choice now but to involve the Legal Ombudsman and SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) just so I can receive an original document that I paid for and signed, which I can then file with Land Registry, something they should have done 6 months ago.

I would steer clear of this firm.

AWFUL

I start a good relationship with Thirsk Winton LLP in 2020...It was back then good enough to me....Then beginning of february 2021 I was passed along to Matthew Barrett, without being told... I was just ignored since then. No reply to fone call, NEVER even heard his voice, no reply to email. He/they just let you rotten then until you given up. AWFUL... I didn´t know it could be possible to have such a bad customer service. Sad. Really sad...

Efficent and friendly service.

I used Thirsk Winton in the past few months when my wife and I sold our property and purchased a new home. They kept us informed every step of the way and they made these transactions very smooth and easy to understand. Thank you, Stephen and Suzanne, for your help, and I would definitely refer your firm to family, friends and colleagues.

Efficient and good value.

Recently used Thirsk Winton when buying my first property. Obviously a highly daunting experience, particularly when there is always the possibility that you will pay above and beyond. These solicitors were brilliant, however- always very prompt, despite my account likely not being a huge priority, and I was very impressed with their thoroughness. I have had a far better experience with this firm than my friends have had with others. Highly recommended.

Frustrating experience

The solicitors are always too busy to help or on leave. Ended up chasing most of the time and they never return calls. My case still not solved even after paying more than double original quote. Avoid if you want your best interests looked after.
