Absolute shambles of a firm

Mistakes made at every turn - Promises not kept. I had to request that 3 different solicitors be taken off my case because of sheer incompetence.

Taking advantage of minorities who cannot speak English well !!

They take advantage of clients who cannot speak English well!!! They came to my house and made my dad sign a plain document after refusing they pressured him into doing so, therefore he signed it as they were supposed to be on ‘his side’ (the document that he signed on was blank only containing space for his signature). They gave the signature to the opposing teams lawyers, which they then used his signature to forge it onto a document going against him claiming he had signed it. Bear in mind after he signed this document they then opted out of being our lawyer before the court date!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! SCAM !! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!! They should be sued!

I would never recommend Garvins Law to anyone they are rude, and an unprofessional bunch of keyboard warriors who are there to make money from peoples misfortune. We had at least 5 "case handlers" who rarely updated us of the process and no common curtsey is given to you as their client. Our case where liability was admitted and proved took nearly 4 years for them to resolve!!! There is a lot of conflict of interest as most of the staff are all related so no point in complaining. Go to proper Law Firm who will conduct your case properly at least the money you pay for a solicitor will be put to good proper professional use and not a bunch of retards who just fill in already prepared documents. They have no interest in the clients welfare they are there to only take money from you!!!

OVER 2 YEARS WITH NO RESULTS, SEEMS TO BE IN CAHOOTS WITH THIRD PARTY INSURER TO MINIMIZE MY COMPENSATION, POOR LEVEL OF CONTRACTORS THAT WORK FOR THEM, I HAVE MY THIRD CASE HANDLER NOW, THE COMPANY ISNT TAKING ANY NEW CLAIMS, THEY SEEM TO WANT TO SHUT DOWN MY CLAIM AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE REGARDLESS OF THE TRUE EXTENT OF MY INJURIES AND INCOME LOSS. THEIR CONTRACTORS HAVE BEEN UNPROFFESIONAL WITH UNREASONABLE DELAYS. COMPLAINTS ARE PUSHED ASIDE AND NOT INVESTIGATED WITH DUE DILLIGENCE. MALPRACTICE ALL OVER MY CASE. I just wanted to thank Steven for all the amazing work he did on my claim. He sorted out what so many other before him could not an in only 6 months of him having my claim. My claim was by no means an easy one and he really made sure I was aware of everything to do with my claim and kept me fully updated! Absolute credit to Garvin's! Thanks Steven!

Had an road accident In Jan 2018 and the 3rd party admitted liability straight away.
I have been left with extreme pain and am currently undergoing treatment for Fibromyalgia which my GP, pain clinic and physio all agree is the result of being rear ended while sat stationary.
I was sent to see 1 specialist who said my symptoms are more than he is able to diagnose so recommend a different specialist. After waiting to see someone else he seems to think I have a soft tissue injury despite me telling him about all that is going on with my GP and other specialists I'm currently seeing.
He expects me to recover within 12 months. (Even though I saw him In Aug 2019 and the accident was Jan 2018 and I'm still suffering).
I have done nothing but chase up Garvin's. Not had calls returned. Not had emails returned. Been passed around lots of claim handlers which then have to figure out where the claim is at.
I'm now at the stage where I'm just settling the case and walking away with an estimated £3000 payout for what is potentially a life changing injury leaving me in constant pain and with depression because I've had enough of the incompetence from Garvin's and can't deal with the stress from this and trying to cope with what I'm left with.
I feel Garvin's are only interested in their 30% fee that they take from doing as little work as possible to get it.
I would not recommend using these guys to settle any personal injury case.

Garbins Car crash services - literally

Grossly imcompetent, self serving teams of children that have no interest in your case and not enough experience to know what basic respect is.
After a yr of them not having notes collated, botching appointments and failing to follow instructions, I am switching to a new solicitor.
They will not summarize my account for a new solicitor and it has made it impossible to move my file forwards for a further 3 months.
Then when they finally agree to summarize my account, they have another child call me to "process my complaint" - 1 of their standard tricks to attempt to cause confusion and avoid the real issue of summarizing my file for a new firm to deal with proffessionally.
I have never in my life had to deal with such a shower and if you genuinely have an injury, I would avoid this firm at ALL COSTS.

Injury after car accident

In September 2017 I was injured when a stolen car was in collision with mine and wrote it off. At age 68 this was my first claim for injury in almost 50 years of driving. Luckily a friend recommended Garvins. My case was handled by Vincent Sheung and Nikki Prior. Both were very patient with me, professional and efficient. My case has taken two years to conclude but they had Motor Insurers Bureau to wrestle with. Be warned: you yourself will be dealing with MIB’s appointed minions if (like me) you get injured by an uninsured driver. Contact will come sooner than you might expect-while you are still in recovery and so more vulnerable. Be very well prepared and dont allow your vulnerability to disadvantage your conversation with an unscrupulous MIB-appointed investigator or medical legal expert. Garvins have done their best for me throughout this process. I
am most grateful to Vincent and to Nikki for their work on my behalf.
