Nathan provided me with the benefit of his experience dealing with HR issues and negotiations from a human rather than corporate perspective. Rather than push for tribunals and litigation (and more pounds in his own pocket), he helped me to carefully tease out what outcome would be most beneficial for me in both short and long run. From there, he engaged constructively with my Group Head of HR and adjustments to the Diminished Pool recruitment process were put in place that enabled me to compete fairly for and secure a role in the re-shaped business. I found his approach very helpful at a point I felt surrounded by much well meaning but hyperbolic and misinformed advice about "taking them for millions", which for multiple reasons felt like the wrong path for me.
