R easons/basis This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that: 1. He didn't comply with an undertaking by failing to respond to official queries from HM Land Registry (HMLR) about a property between May and November 2023. 2. He did not register a property with HMLR for his clients, despite being instructed to do so, over a period of more than five years (from June 2019 to February 2025). 3. He misled a client on several occasions between November 2021 and November 2023 about the status of her property registration. It is alleged that he repeatedly told her that the application had been submitted or was being processed by HMLR, even though he knew this was not true. 4. He failed to perform an undertaking between December 2023 and February 2025, to submit a Deed of Variation to HMLR for registration in respect of another property. 5. He did not co-operate with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) during their investigation between February 2024 and February 2025.
