I contacted Hudgell Solicitors about a medical negligence claim for my partner, who has been left in extreme pain and serious health decline while in prison. Despite detailed explanations of exposed dental nerves left untreated for over 13 weeks, overdosing due to unbearable agony, and alarming symptoms like vomiting blood and bleeding from his anus, their response focused narrowly on medication issues and dismissed the broader, more serious neglect.They failed to properly address the long delays in hospital treatment and ignored the repeated warnings of life-threatening symptoms. I felt our concerns were not taken seriously and suspect his status as a prisoner played a role. Another firm has now taken on the case with full attention to these issues. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend Hudgell Solicitors.
They are very friendly. I thought I had every chance until today, but they just waste peoples time. It was very disappointing in the end and then absolute waste of my time. What an absolute shame they promise you the world and deliver you nothing. They said that I had every chance of winning the case with my medical negligence case.

Enquired about a military claim for NIHL as I was in the armed forces 1984 to 1996. They accepted but then phoned me to say they cannot take on the claim as I joined the forces before 1987. This is wrong as my service continued on until 1996... so that is well after 1987. Not very knowledgeable on the parameters of what can be claimed. Other solicitor firms had no problem with the dates.
I saw advert on the internet of Hudgell solicitors then phoned the number and I'm very impressed. I'm happy that I contacted a very professional and genuinely caring firm of solicitors.
