From the time we approached Gilroy Steel to act on our behalf for equity release, they made our ride smooth and easy. We were very nervous about taking money out of our house but a very knowledgable gentleman, Robert Fox, visited us at home and went through everything with us. He was kind and patient when explaining all legalities. I would definitly recommend this company to anyone thinking of releasing equity on their house.

I had a really bad experience with Gilroy Steel when selling and buying a house with them.
The communication was ZERO so it was incredibly poor despite sending several emails to communicate. The office looking after my sale and purchase was the furthest office away from the location I live, when there was an office in the town that I live. I thought that was really badly organised. All the forms was paper based which seems very prehistoric for a 2022 law firm.
I ended up cancelling Gilroy Steel and choosing different solicitors as my experience was that poor.

I can honestly say that Sam, Sharon and Georgia have been absolute superstars.
The honesty , integrity, kindness and professionalism of this agency is fab.

I went to see one of the solicitors here who was condescending and arrogant about a family matter. He told me I should go see my GP not a solicitor. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a supportive and professional solicitor for family matters.
