Absolutely horrendous firm
I can hardly put into writing how inept this firm is. Originally approached for a simple negotiation between ourselves and another party where we were both already in agreement. Had to get solicitors involved to make sure everything was above board and the nightmare was never ending. Our original end date was March 2022, by the time we got to August 2022 we had to drop them and have now gone with another solicitor who has completed the entire project in two weeks. For the majority of the time we were with GM all we ever got were phone calls from one of the team members which were voicemails to discuss that they were going to have to charge more money. We would then receive an invoice charging us for these voicemails! On multiple occasions the standard code of conduct for Solicitors in Scotland were completely ignored and I’ve had to follow up with a formal complaint to the society. On top of all this every single piece of work we eventually received from them (including a draft lease which I could’ve got off of Google) contained multiple basic grammatical errors - not least a misspelling of the word ‘the’.I could go on for hours about the poor service they offer but suffice to say avoid at all costs.
